SINCGARS Combat Net Radio
Currently, email is the only way we can tell people about new books, discounts, etc. We keep hearing that people don’t use email very much nowadays, so we’re investigating other ways to keep in touch. We won’t stop using email, but we might start using other options as well.

If you’d like us to use instant messenger or a similar service to tell you about new books, discounts, etc, please let us know. Once we know what people prefer, we’ll look into setting something up.

Large Print and Free Books

This We'll Defend cover

We have two news items to pass on.

This We’ll Defend is now available for free from most vendors.

Damn Close-Run Thing (large print)

A Damn Close-Run Thing is now available in large print. This is something of an experiment – if sales figures suggest that large print is in demand, then we’ll look at making other books available in that format. If you would like to see one of our other books available in large print, email us and let us know.

Digital Reinforcements Now Live

Digital Reinforcements: Free Ebooks
The Shilka Publishing Digital Reinforcements program is now live. The idea is simple. Every Shilka paper book now has a code included in the back. This code can be used to get a digital version of the book for free.

Ebooks and paper books each have advantages. Paper books don’t need a special device to read on, but you can keep an entire reference library of ebooks on a phone or ereader. For many people, the ideal solution would be to have their books in both paper and ebook editions. However, the cost of buying the same book twice puts people off – far better to spend the money on another book!

Shilka customers can now read their books in paper and digital formats, taking full advantage of both, at no extra cost. The free ebook can be downloaded in several formats, so that it can be read on any device: Mobi (for Kindle devices & apps), ePub (for other ereaders & ereader apps), and PDF (for reading on a computer). Ereader apps are available for all computers, tablets and smartphones.
